Star Cut Portable CNC Profile cutting machine is an economical portable light weight CNC cutting machine to cut complex shapes of high quality with Oxy-fuel and Plasma cutting. The machine can be programmed to cut any plane shape parts composed of beeline and arc, which are same as large gantry cutting machines. It is equipped with a 7 inch LCD with dynamic and static graphical display.It can be programmed to cut parts directly, and also can be operated by using GCode generated by CAM program (Nesting software), and then be transfered to the machine via its USB Port. The CNC Controller on the machine has Memory capacity is more than 3000 files.
This machine has low capital investment, higher cutting efficiency, lower operating and maintenance cost. Being portable it doesnt occupy a fixed space / bad in your workshop and thus helps you save space. Also can be used for on-site work by fabricators because of its light weight design and low power consumption.
This product is suitable for small and medium fabrictors, widely used in automobile, shipbuilding, engineering machinery, machine manufacturers, agricultural machinery, suitable for carbon steel (flame cutting), and stainless steel (with plasma).
Machine consists of a Cantilever structure, longitudinal rail on one axis, and moving arm on the other. This design helps save space. The motion along longitudinal axis and cantilever arm is powered by Digital Hybrid Stepper motors using hardened and ground rack and pinion drives. This arrangement provides smooth acceleration, deceleration and controlled profile cutting speeds.

AUTOMATIC TORCH HEIGHT CONTROLLER
Capacitive automatic torch height controller helps maintain constant distance between torch and work piece during the entire cut motion. This helps counter the waviness and undulations present in the work piece.
Oxyfuel Machine is upgradable in future to work with a Plasma power source for plasma cutting.
